Hydrangea

27歳になった記念に、額縁に入れた作品を制作しました。
僕の誕生日は6月なので作品のテーマは6月に咲くお花、紫陽花(あじさい)。
張りのある洋紙タントとぬくもりのある雲竜和紙を張り合わせて9枚の折り紙でシンプルかつ美しい折り紙作品として制作しています。

100年そこそこという短い一生の中であとどれだけの作品を創り出せるかと考えると日々の創作時間が貴重に感じます。今年もよろしくお願いします！

To commemorate turning 27, I created an artwork that I framed. My birthday is in June, so the theme of the artwork is the June-blooming flower, the hydrangea. I used sturdy Western-style Tant paper and warm Unryu-washi paper, combining them with nine origami folds to create a simple yet beautiful origami piece.

In this relatively short lifespan of around a hundred years, I ponder how many more creations I can produce. This makes me treasure the time for creativity in my daily life. Thank you for your support this year!
